Transporters establish solute gradients across biological memrbanes and are one of the most promising class of therapeautic targets. The Stamou Lab pioneered single transporter activity measurements (Science 351, 1469–1473 (2016); Nature 611, 827–834 (2022)). Join us in these cutting-edge projects as a postdoc to work on single molecule biophysics and pharmacology of primary and secondary actrive transporters. The positions requires documented experience in 1) single molecule fluorescence microscopy 2) computational image analysis and statistical data analysis using e.g. Matlab or Python. You will be based in the Stamou Lab and collaborate with the Nissen Lab at the University of Aarhus and Lundbeck A/S.

The postdoc’s duties will include research within single molecule biophysics as well as teaching. The post may also include performance of other duties.
